The COMP Cams seat spacer for Big Block Chevrolet engines provides a dedicated locator to replace stacked shims under the spring. At .300" thick with a 1.732" OD, it locates the spring with an outside step so the spring cannot "walk" around on the head. These locators are made to work with COMP’s beehive springs and eliminate the sloppy fit common to stacked-shim solutions for late-model BBC exhaust valve rotator setups.
