These COMP Cams hardened steel street valve locks are single‑groove, 7° angle locks for 5/16" stem size, supplied as a pair. Recommended for stock engine rebuilds and lighter spring loads typical of street applications, they require correct sizing: a small gap between the two halves indicates proper fit. They are intended to locate the retainer and spring until the retainer nests and secures the assembly.
