This COMP Cams pack includes sixteen pairs of hardened steel two-groove street locks sized for 3/8" stems, intended as replacement locks for Chrysler-style street engine rebuilds. They are recommended for lighter valve spring loads and supply multiple pairs for full cylinder head service. Proper installation requires matching lock size to the valve stem so a small gap remains between the two halves before the retainer seats and forms the collet effect.
