Fel-Pro valve cover gasket set uses Cork-Lam construction with a metal core chemically and mechanically bonded to cork-rubber on both sides, creating a thicker gasket with excellent torque retention and vacuum resistance. This design allows extra clearance between the valvetrain and cover and is intended for applications where blowout risk is a concern. Not intended for use in emission-controlled vehicles.
