This shaft-mount rocker system for GM LS1/LS2/LS6 pairs 2024 aluminum rockers with an 8620 hardened steel shaft to increase rigidity and valve-train stability. Specified with a 1.8 ratio, it’s intended to improve power transfer from cam to valve compared with stud-mounted designs. Note that valve cover spacers, baffle removal, or aftermarket covers may be required for installation clearance.
