The JE Pistons forged BBC eight-cylinder piston set with a 4.530 in. bore and a .600 dome (45.0 cc) is engineered for demanding domestic powerplants. Forged from 2618 aluminum and finished in the USA, the pistons incorporate JE's Forged Side Relief forging. Where specified, accumulator grooves and skirt coatings reduce combustion pressure effects and friction to improve ring seal and operational durability.
