The JE Pistons BBC .480 dome piston kit is a set of eight forged pistons for Big Block Chevrolet applications and performance builds. Forged from 2618 aluminum and made in the USA, these pistons employ JE's Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to reduce skirt width and friction; accumulator grooves and skirt coatings included on many applications improve ring seal and reduce wear. Specified for a 4.500 in. bore with a 1.120 in. dome (40.0 cc).
