The JE Pistons BBC .580 dome piston kit supplies a matched set of eight forged pistons for Big Block Chevrolet applications and high-demand builds. Forged from 2618 aluminum in the USA, these pistons employ JE's Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to reduce skirt width and friction; many applications feature accumulator grooves and skirt coatings to improve ring seal and reduce wear. Specified for a 4.310 in. bore with a 1.120 in. dome (44.0 cc).
