The JE Pistons BBC closed-chamber dome piston kit supplies eight forged pistons for Big Block Chevrolet applications, tuned for demanding racing conditions. Forged from 2618 aluminum and made in the USA, these pistons employ JE's Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to reduce friction and skirt width; many applications add an accumulator groove and skirt coating to improve ring seal and reduce wear. Specified for a 4.280 in. bore with a 1.765 in. dome.
