The JE Pistons BBC closed-chamber dome piston kit delivers a matched set of eight forged pistons for Big Block Chevrolet applications and high-demand builds. Manufactured from 2618 aluminum in the USA, these pistons use JE's Forged Side Relief (FSR) design to lower friction and skirt width; many versions include an accumulator groove and skirt coating to improve ring seal and reduce wear. Specified for a 4.125 in. bore with a 1.765 in. dome.
