JE Pistons’ forged 8-cylinder piston kit is built for demanding domestic and race uses, forged and machined entirely in the USA from 2618 aluminum. The Forged Side Relief (FSR) shape reduces skirt width and friction while saving weight. Accumulator grooves and skirt coatings (application dependent) improve ring seal and reduce wear. Specified for a 4.500 in bore with a 1.645 in compression dish (-3.0 cc).
