The JE Pistons 427 BBF inverted-dome piston kit is a forged eight-cylinder set for large-displacement domestic engines. Forged from 2618 aluminum and machined in the USA, it fits a 4.280 in. bore with 1.325 CD and -25.0 cc clearance. JE’s FSR forging reduces skirt width and friction; accumulator grooves and skirt coatings where specified promote better ring seal, lower wear and steadier power under high loads.
