JE Pistons 400 SBC 8-cylinder forged piston kit with an 18° valve relief dome, specified for a 4.125 in. bore and a 1.000 in. compression height with approximately +2.50 cc. This kit is tailored for large-bore domestic V8 engine builds requiring precise piston geometry. Forged from 2618 aluminum in the USA, JE's FSR forging lowers skirt friction and saves weight. Accumulator grooves and skirt coatings where applicable improve ring seal and reduce wear; pistons are made and machined 100% in the USA.
