JE's eight-piece piston kit for 400 SBC includes .460" dome, flat-top pistons sized for a 4.155 in. bore with a 1.187 in. compression distance and 12.9 cc dome volume. Made in the USA from 2618 aluminum, the pistons use JE's Forged Side Relief method, optional accumulator grooves and skirt coatings to minimize friction, control ring flutter and provide durable performance for high-stress V8 builds.
