JE Pistons forged eight‑piston kit for 400 small‑block Chevy (SBC) engines. Flat‑top pistons with a 4.145 in. bore, 1.125" compression distance and -5.0 cc crown volume are specified for larger displacement SBC builds. Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, the pistons use proprietary FSR geometry to lower friction and weight; accumulator grooves and skirt coatings may be included depending on the application to enhance ring seal and reduce wear.
