JE Pistons forged eight‑cylinder piston kit for SBC applications, featuring a 4.040 in. bore, 1.250 compression height and -5.0 cc volume. It’s intended for performance and racing domestic engines requiring a matched piston set. Made in the USA from 2618 aluminum, JE’s pistons use Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to decrease skirt width and friction. Where specified these pistons may include an accumulator groove and skirt coating to improve ring sealing and reduce wear.
