JE Pistons forged eight‑cylinder piston kit for SBC applications, featuring a 4.040 in. bore, 1.125 compression height and -5.0 cc volume. The matched set is suited to performance and rebuild applications where piston geometry matters. Forged from 2618 aluminum in the USA, JE’s components use Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to limit skirt width and friction. Depending on configuration they may include an accumulator groove and skirt coating to help maintain ring seal and reduce wear.
