JE Pistons forged eight‑cylinder piston kit for SBC applications with a 4.040 in. bore, 1.050 compression height and -5.0 cc volume. It’s intended for high‑demand domestic and racing engines requiring precise piston dimensions. Forged in the USA from 2618 aluminum, these pistons use JE’s Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging to minimize skirt width and friction. Depending on application they may include an accumulator groove and optional skirt coating to help maintain ring seal and reduce wear.
