The JE forged piston kit for Subaru EJ‑series STI applications is a four‑cylinder set sized to a 3.917 in. bore with a 9.50:1 compression ratio and an inverted dome/dish profile. Made in the USA from 2618 aluminum, the kit includes premium wrist pins, locks and JE Pro Seal rings. JE’s Forged Side Relief reduces skirt friction and width; accumulator grooves and skirt coatings where applied help improve ring sealing and reduce wear under sustained loads.
