JE piston ring set for an eight-cylinder application is a file-fit three-ring package engineered to improve ring seal and reduce friction for better engine output. It includes 0.064 in hard ductile iron phosphate top rings, 0.064 in iron phosphate second rings and 0.188 in carbon steel chrome low-tension oil rings. The reinforced top rings provide about 20% more tensile strength and work well with turbocharged or nitrous-assisted builds.
