JE Pistons Spiro Locks are alloy steel wrist pin retainers supplied as the standard lock on many JE pistons. Installed by spreading and rotating into the pin boss, spiro locks provide secure pin retention; they differ from reusable tru-arc or hook wire designs in installation and reuse characteristics. These discreet retainers are sized and finished for reliable pin retention in compatible piston assemblies.
