The J&L 3.0 oil separator for 2003–2004 Mercury Marauder (passenger side, black anodized) traps oil vapors from crankcase ventilation before they reach the intake. Milled from billet aluminum with a knurled removable base, it uses a fine mesh and an aluminum honeycomb filter to coalesce oil and hold about 3 oz. Drain every 2,000–3,000 miles to prevent buildup and maintain intake cleanliness.
