The COMP Cams High Energy hydraulic flat tappet lifter is built for Chevrolet inline-six and V6 engines covering 194–292 and 200–262 cid ranges. It uses a patented orifice metering valve to precisely feed oil to the rocker arms while maintaining continuous contact with the pushrod seat to prevent excessive oiling at high rpm. A heat-treated powdered metal pushrod seat and lightweight check valve disc improve wear resistance and throttle response.
