The Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap 460 intake manifold is a street- and high-performance option for Ford 429/460 big-block V8s, using an open Air-Gap to separate runners from hot engine oil for a cooler, denser charge and improved power. It accepts square-bore and spread-bore carburetors for Cobra Jet applications, offers a larger cross-sectional area than earlier Performer RPM 460 designs, and is intended for pre-1988 Ford applications.
