The Edelbrock Performer Vortec intake manifold is a dual-plane swap manifold for 1985-and-later Chevy 200–229–262 cid (3.8L and 4.3L) V6 engines using Vortec heads. It lets builders use the higher flow of Vortec heads while accepting late-model water necks, alternator, HEI and A/C. Provisions for an external water bypass are included and it accepts Thunder Series AVS or Performer 500 cfm square-bore carbs.
