The Ford Racing Super Cobra Jet bare cylinder head is a redesigned 429 Cobra Jet head featuring revised valve angles, relocated valves and updated combustion chambers to reduce shrouding and improve airflow. The bare head accepts the same valves, valve springs, retainers and 7/16 in. stud-mounted roller rockers as current Cobra Jet heads, and standard Cobra Jet intake and exhaust manifolds bolt right on. This design is estimated to deliver a 25–50 HP increase depending on displacement and camshaft.
