The Cometic Revolution head and base MLS kit for 4 3/8-inch (4.390" actual) applications includes a .040-inch MLS head and a .020-inch combustion seal. The MLS construction uses embossed AMP-coated outer layers combined with an uncoated stainless steel shim to meet varied thickness requirements. The design requires less clamp load, conforms load distribution across the sealing area and reduces bore distortion during installation.
