Cometic's .027" MLS head gasket for Yamaha YZF-R6 (2003–2005) and YZF-R6S (2006–2009) with a 70mm bore provides multi-layer steel sealing suited to those models. The embossed AMP-coated outer layers and uncoated stainless shim layer address harsh sealing environments and varied surface finishes. The gasket requires less clamp load, helps reduce bore distortion and evens load distribution for reliable cylinder sealing.
