The Cometic MLS head gasket for Ford FE V8 engines is a multi-layer steel gasket with a compressed thickness of 0.036" and a 4.400" bore size. Built from embossed stainless steel layers with Viton coating on the outer faces, it provides strong sealing for aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast-iron combinations without sealants. Note: this gasket does not fit the 427 SOHC Cammer application.
