Embossed stainless steel outer layers coated in Viton provide durable sealing without sealants. The uncoated center shim permits thickness tuning; MLS construction distributes load evenly, copes with aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-iron shearing, requires less clamp load and helps reduce bore distortion. Viton coating resists heat up to 250°C (482°F).
