Cometic MLS head gasket for 1975–1987 Buick V6 (196/231/252) Stage I & II applications with a 4.02-inch bore and compressed operating thickness of 0.075 in. Constructed from multiple embossed stainless layers with Viton-coated outer faces and an uncoated stainless center shim, the MLS gasket requires no sealants. It suits aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-iron combinations, resists corrosion, and evens clamp load to limit bore distortion. Viton resists heat to 250°C (482°F) and AMP embossing enhances sealing.
