The Cometic AFM valley gasket set for GM Small Block V8 (.032" thickness) provides valley sealing using chemically blown nitrile bonded to an aluminum core. AFM material offers about 85% recovery, strong torque retention and temperature resistance above 205°F; it does not require sealants or re-torquing. Cometic gasket kits include the valley gaskets plus the seals, washers and O-rings needed for an overhaul where noted, but this set does not include head gaskets.
