This Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for Ford FE V8 (4.300in bore, .060in thickness) is a multi-layer stainless steel gasket designed for demanding sealing environments. Outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton to resist heat up to 250°C (482°F) while the uncoated shim layer allows thickness variation for proper clamp distribution. MLS construction provides rebound and corrosion resistance, conforms load across the sealing area, and reduces required clamp load. Note: does not fit 427 SOHC Cammer.
