This Cometic MLS head gasket is built for GM LS Gen‑3/4 small block V8 applications with a 4.100" bore and a compressed thickness of 0.045". It uses multiple embossed stainless steel layers with Viton-coated outer faces for heat and chemical resistance, plus an uncoated stainless shim layer. MLS construction provides strong sealing for aluminum/block combinations and does not require sealants.
