Embossed stainless steel outer layers coated with Viton provide sealing for high-output applications without sealants. The uncoated stainless center shim supports thickness variation; MLS construction evens load distribution, tolerates aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-iron interfaces, reduces clamp load and minimizes bore distortion. Viton coating resists heat up to 250°C (482°F).
