The Cometic MLS head gasket for Chrysler 5.7L Gen‑3 Hemi is a multi-layer stainless steel cylinder head gasket with a 3.950" bore and .036" compressed thickness, left-hand bank fit. Outer embossed layers are coated both sides with Viton, heat resistant to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated center shim layer allows thickness tuning, reduces clamp load and helps conform load distribution to better handle varied surface finishes and sealing conditions.
