The Cometic Gen-2 Hemi MLS head gasket for Chrysler Gen-2 Hemi engines with a 4.280in bore is a multi-layer steel cylinder head gasket made for strong sealing in high-output engines and does not require sealants. Embossed stainless outer layers are coated with Viton on both sides; a center uncoated stainless shim accommodates thickness needs. Compressed operating thickness is 0.051" and the assembly resists corrosion, rebounds under load and reduces clamp load to help prevent bore distortion.
