The Cometic GM 500 DRCE-2 MLS head gasket (.027 in compressed thickness) is made for GM 500 DRCE 2 Pro Stock V8 applications with a 4.780 in bore and 4.900 in bore centers. Its multiple embossed stainless layers are coated with Viton on both sides to provide heat-resistant sealing without sealants. The uncoated center shim supports thickness variation, distributes load uniformly, requires less clamp load and helps prevent bore distortion under stress.
