The Cometic GM 500 DRCE-2 MLS head gasket (.056 in compressed thickness) is made for GM 500 DRCE 2 Pro Stock V8 applications with a 4.700 in bore and 4.900 in bore centers. Its embossed stainless outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton to offer heat-resistant sealing without additional sealants. The uncoated center shim permits thickness variation, conforms load distribution, reduces clamp load and helps minimize bore distortion under load.
