The Cometic GM 500 DRCE-2 MLS head gasket (.036 in compressed thickness) fits GM 500 DRCE 2 Pro Stock V8 applications with a 4.700 in bore and 4.900 in bore centers. Multiple embossed stainless layers are coated both sides with Viton to provide reliable sealing in demanding conditions without sealants. An uncoated stainless shim layer allows for thickness tuning, conforms load across the sealing area, lowers clamp load and helps limit bore distortion.
