The Cometic GM 500 DRCE-2 MLS head gasket (.098 in compressed thickness) is intended for GM 500 DRCE 2 Pro Stock V8 applications with a 4.675 in bore and 4.900 in bore centers. Constructed from multiple embossed stainless layers coated on both sides with Viton, it seals high-output engines without the need for sealants. The uncoated stainless shim layer allows thickness variation, helps distribute load evenly, reduces clamp load and minimizes bore distortion.
