The Cometic GM 500 DRCE-2 MLS head gasket (.040 in compressed thickness) is a multi-layer steel cylinder head gasket for GM 500 DRCE 2 Pro Stock V8 applications with a 4.675 in bore and 4.900 in bore centers. Embossed stainless outer layers are coated on both sides with heat-resistant Viton to seal demanding environments without sealants. An uncoated stainless shim layer allows thickness variation, helps distribute load, requires less clamp load and reduces bore distortion.
