The Cometic MLS head gasket for Chrysler Gen-2 Hemi engines with a 4.500in bore and 0.120in compressed thickness is built for strong, leak-resistant sealing in high-output applications. It combines embossed stainless steel outer layers coated with Viton and an uncoated stainless shim to seal without additional adhesives. MLS construction rebounds under load, resists corrosion, reduces clamp load to limit bore distortion, tolerates aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast-iron joints, and performs in harsh sealing conditions to 250°C (482°F).
