The Cometic MLS head gasket for Chevrolet Gen-1 Small Block V8 (4.125" bore) is a .030" compressed-thickness multi-layer steel gasket built for high-output engines. Its embossed outer layers are coated with Viton for heat resistance and corrosion resistance, and the uncoated shim center layer allows thickness variation. It seals aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast-iron joints and requires no sealant, suitable for Brodix 12–23° heads.
