This .042" compressed thickness with a 4.630" bore is a no-sealant solution for high-output applications. Embossed outer stainless layers are coated both sides with Viton to tolerate heat to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated central shim allows thickness variation, evens clamp load distribution and helps limit bore distortion.
