The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines offers multi-layer stainless sealing for demanding engines. This .030" compressed thickness and 4.630" bore provides a sealant-free installation for aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast-iron joints. Embossed outer layers are coated both sides with Viton to withstand heat to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated center shim layer permits thickness tuning, evens clamp load and reduces bore distortion.
