The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines is constructed from multiple embossed stainless layers to meet demanding sealing requirements. This .092" compressed thickness and 4.540" bore provides a no-sealant sealing solution for high-output engines. Outer layers are Viton-coated on both sides for heat resistance to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated stainless shim permits thickness variation, evens clamp load and helps minimize bore distortion.
