The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines provides multi-layer stainless sealing for high-output builds. This .080" compressed thickness and 4.540" bore installs without sealants and suits aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast-iron interfaces. Embossed outer stainless layers are coated both sides with Viton for heat resistance to 250°C (482°F). A central uncoated stainless shim permits thickness variation, evens load distribution and helps limit bore distortion.
