This .060" compressed thickness with a 4.540" bore provides a sealant-free solution for high-output engines. Outer embossed stainless layers are coated both sides with Viton for heat resistance to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated center shim permits thickness adjustment, evens clamp load across the sealing area and reduces bore distortion under load.
