The Cometic MLS cylinder head gasket for GM Gen-V/VI Big Block V8 engines provides layered stainless sealing for demanding engine applications. This .030" compressed thickness with a 4.540" bore seals reliably without additional sealants. Outer embossed stainless layers are Viton-coated on both sides for heat resistance to 250°C (482°F). The uncoated center shim can be varied to meet thickness requirements while promoting even clamp load distribution and reduced bore distortion.
